 How do you know if someone is lying?

Actually, I asked many people about this and answers were usually related to body language. I also think that the answers are somewhat correct, because body language means a lot. For example, when a person lies to someone, he plays with his hair or he doesn't make eye contact. These are very common thing. Of course, the person's behavior and actions are also important here. I only mentioned the very common ones. When I asked people, one of them answered: I stay silent when he talks and if he keeps talking I know he's lying (Ecem), another person replied: If he gives an answer different from what I asked, I understand that he is lying (Sıla). These are just a few and i don't know about you, but these are the ones that make sense to me.
